Only a real maverick would wear pro-democrat neckwear into a republican rally.

$92 on a romper and matching hat for baby Trig.

The republicans’ latest sweetheart wearing a vote democratic scarf at an election rally…………..priceless!

McCain Pandering to the Taco Vote

McCain Pandering to the Taco Vote

With the help of some drunken burrito raiders I’ve successfully disposed of 17 Chipotle burritos in a week.  I’ve got three more in the freezer for later.  I think I’ve had my fill of Chipotle for a while.  13 tacos this week.  I’ve got jury duty tomorrow. Hopefully I can get thrown out.

For those interested in politics, tacos were prominently featured in the last presidential debate.  McCain made an appeal to Jose the Day Laborer by slamming a taco grande post debate.  ¿Que tienes Barack?

Burrito Bonanza

October 10, 2008

My taco recession is about to come to an end!  Chipotle is going to bail me out with 20 free burritos!  No, I didn’t get sponsored yet.  H won a raffle for them.  If we guessed the score on the TX-OU game we’ll win a years worth of burritos and SWA tickets.  Texas better win by 20 points. Our chances of winning the burritos was pretty high since we stuffed the ballot box, just about doubling the number of entries.  Now I just need to get a stack of tortillas so the burrito to taco conversions can begin.  For the week I’ve had 4 tacos – what a dry spell.

Taco Salad?

October 6, 2008

Taco Eating was better this week compared to last but still not on pace.  I scored 17.5 over the past week.  We doubled up this weekend with two trips to Magnolia for breakfast.

So I’ve finally found a reliable poll that I’m sure holds the answer to who will win the election.  It can be found at www.tastebudpolitics.com  There you have it!  Beyond a shadow of a doubt Obama will school McCain.  According to a related article, Obama is a Taco Salad person and McCain is Nachos.  That worries me, I’d go for nachos over taco salad any day of the week unless it’s those nachos you find at 7-11.   The study catagorizes Palin as a Chips and Salsa person – that makes sense – she’s pretty light on substance.

The poll catagorized me as a quesadilla person. What’s up with that?

BTW – The study was a nice advertising ploy by Qdoba but their food still sucks
